He was predeceased by: his grandfather Roy Edward Varble, Sr.; his brother Steven Lloyd Varble; his mother Mattie Harris Lanier Varble; his aunt Evelyn M. Varble; his grandmother Ruth Bidwell; and his father Roy Edward Varble, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Varble; his children, Lisa Crowe, Linda Booker (Mike) and Jacobe Crowley; and his grandchildren, Mark Crowe, Jr., Victoria Carlisle (Jackie), Joseph Sapp (Chelsea), Evelyn Moore (Travis) and Debbie Barber (Brandon). He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
