It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie W. Floyd of Owensboro, Kentucky, born in Calhoun, Kentucky, who passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hudinall and Lillian Sellers Floyd; and his sons, Chad Floyd, Joshua Floyd and Jeff Floyd.
He is survived by: his former wife Gladys Gene Baker; his wife Cheryle Floyd; his sons, Jarrod Floyd (Emily) of Sacramento and Jason Floyd (Amy) of Calhoun; his stepdaughters, Mishiele Coomes (Albert) of Owensboro, Leta Partlow of Owensboro, Karen Brooks (Leah Emery) of Owensboro and Nisa Harper (Scott) of Bowling Green; and his siblings, Bruce Floyd (May) of Slaughters and Sandy Baird (Darrell) of Calhoun. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 11 step grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 18 step grandchildren.
