He was predeceased by: his mother Katie Helen; and his brother William Chester Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Bessie Hardin Roberts; his children, Vicki Hall and Jeff Roberts (Cyndi); his sister Mabel Kirk; and his grandchildren, Brian Roberts (Mandy), Ashley Boyce (Sean), Jamie Roberts, Brittany Nicholas (Joel) and Kristin Hagan (John Johnson). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
