It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Snyder Harper of Owensboro, Kentucky, born in Tell City, Indiana, who passed away on May 12, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Snyder and Hazel Hendershot Snyder; her husband John L. "Jay" Harper, Sr.; her daughter Deborah Kay Burgess; her great grandchild Lucas Makiah Lee Hall; and her siblings, Regina "Jean" Starks and James "Jimmy" Snyder.
She is survived by: her children, Lana Harper, Sherree Wall (David) and John L. Harper, Jr. (Vanessa Revlett) of Owensboro, KY; her son-in-law Mike Burgess of Martinez, GA; and her grandchildren, Lynette Hitt, Bubba Inglett, Jamie Inglett, Tiffany Inglett, Brad Roberts, Jeremy Roberts, Jennifer Cain, Beth Helton, Jill Payne and Tyler Harper. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren.
