Dorothy M. Johnson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy M. Johnson of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on August 3, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Leo and Bertha Wimsatt Thompson; her husband Frank Thomas Johnson; her granddaughter Jennifer Ann Wright; her siblings, James E. Thompson, Harold Thompson, Charles Thompson, Carl D. Thompson and Ida Clark; her grandmother Reeks; and her son-in-law David G. "Dickie" Payne.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Ann "Becky" Payne of Owensboro and David T. Johnson (Maureen "Reenie") of St. Augustine, Florida; and her grandchildren, Stacy Renee Hart (William D.) of Owensboro, Glenn Payne of Owensboro, Michelle Greenwell of Owensboro and David Johnson (Lisa) of Central City. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, and 14 great great grandchildren.
