Dorothy Jean Ford Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Jean Ford of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on January 15, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. Strehl and Edith Fulkerson Strehl; her husband Reyburn W. Ford; and her sisters, Virginia Hempel, Clara Burton and Betty Pruden.

She is survived by: her children, Rey Ford (Laura), Rick Ford (Donna) and Renee Ford; her grandchildren, Chacey Malhouitre (Romain), Charissa Kenny (John), John Michael Ford (Paula), Justin Ford and Kristin Ford; her great grandchildren, Nicholas Malhouitre, Nolan Malhouitre, Kaya Saks, Hailey Saks, Veda Kenny and Robert J. Nickerson, IV; her siblings, Ethel McElwain, John Strehl (Gloria), Mike Strehl (Vicki) and David Strehl (Debbie); and her sister-in-law Betty John Sharpe. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
