With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy D. Seaton Ashley of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on January 31, 2022 at the age of 96. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy D. Seaton Ashley to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Daugherty and Bess Renfrow Daugherty; her former husband Edward Seaton; her husband James Ashley; her sons, Gene Seaton and Roger Seaton; her sons-in-law, Howard Livingston and Burl Morris; her grandchildren, Bennie Seaton and Connie Masterson; and her siblings, Martha Lou Gibson, Anna Mae Evans, Nancy Cusey, Pat O'Connell, Barney, Ollie, Wade, Orville and John Daugherty.
She is survived by: her children, Delois Livingston, Doris Morris, Suzy Bokkon (Brett), Shannon Shaffer (Mark), Bill Seaton (Sherry), John Seaton (Dianna), Carl Seaton (Sharon) and Donnie "Dingo" Seaton; her daughter-in-law Julie Seaton; her grandchildren, Tina Filbert (Michael), Charles Powell, Janet Higdon (John), Jimmy Masterson (Amanda), Rick Stallings (Tiffany), Shannon Conner (Mike), Mark Shaffer, Jr. (Gentry), Chris Seaton, Eric Seaton (Deanna), Alexandria Gannon (Jack), Garrett Laughton, Amanda Watts (Michael), Jared Seaton, Jacob Seaton (Joni), Jordan Seaton (Teri), Jon-Caleb Seaton (Sara), Angela Dalaq (Tarek), Venus Perez and Hunter Seaton; her siblings, Nellie Crumpler, Rose Larkin and Bobby Joe Daugherty; her close friend Jennifer Hinch; and also, John, Marla Storm and Nikki Hagerman. She is also survived by 31 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren.
