Doris Jean Callahan Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Jean Callahan of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on November 20, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Pratt Thompson and Ina Devine Thompson; her husband Jim Callahan; her daughter Sharon Sharp; and her sister Freda Myers Edwards.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki Young Espino of Melbourne and Patty Coppage of Cocoa Beach, Florida; and her sisters, Judy Morris and Nancy Ferguson. She is also survived by four grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She donated the property to the Fairview Baptist Church in Olaton for the cemetery in which she and Wendell will be laid to rest.
