He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Carnes Burkhead; his children, Donica Heather Young and Adam Trevor Burkhead (Amanda); his grandchildren, Landen Mark Young of Leitchfield, Seth Alexander Young of Leitchfield, Colton Reese Young of Leitchfield, Ellie Elizabeth Burkhead of Leitchfield and Easton Bennett Burkhead of Leitchfield; his siblings, James Martin Burkhead of Louisville and Mary Jo Burkhead of Leitchfield; and his nephew Chad Eric Pence. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, family, extended family and friends.
