He is survived by: his wife Deneda Faye Kirkman Hillegas; his sons, Byron Hillegas (Andrea Locher) of Owensboro and Jarrod Hillegas (Laurie) of Paducah; his grandchildren, Courtney Hillegas, Krysten Danley, Caleb Hillegas and Noah Hillegas; his great grandchildren, Johnathon, Roman, Naomi and Jonah; and his child Richmond Road of Lexington, KY.
