He was predeceased by: his parents, Garnetta and Frank; his stepfather Tater; his sisters, Doris, Joyce, Shirley, Pam and Joanne; and his pet Rhett.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Barnett; his children, Bradford Barnett (Jennifer), Rhonda Shelton (Dan) and Ashley Valencia (Miguel); his grandchildren, Dallas (Gwen), Emily, Ally, Rae, Christian, Caleb, Cole, Jr., Charlie, Jasper, Javi and Greyson; his great grandchildren, Jayden, Jaxon, Myles and Mya; and his siblings, Wilma, Sharon, Connie and Frankie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory (3009 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
