It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dayton Hicks Heffelfinger Sr. of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on February 21, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Heffelfinger and Billie Hicks Heffelfinger; and his brother Bill Heffelfinger. He is survived by: his wife Creda Townsend Heffelfinger; his children, Nancy Patel (Vimesh) and Dayton Heffelfinger, Jr.; his grandchildren, Anisha, Vivika and Devam Patel; his brother Bob Heffelfinger (Kathy); and his nephews, Dr. Ryan Heffelfinger (Michele) and Dr. Michael Heffelfinger (Erin). He is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.
