He was predeceased by: his wife Pamela Pinkney; and his stepson Donald Cline, Jr.. He is survived by: his stepson Chris Cline; his daughter-in-law Colour Blay; his grandchildren, Nahzir, Brayden, Dale, Hannah Blay, Jay Mar, Cartier Cline and Amaya Teasley; and also, Jocelyn McGilvery, Vanessa Holmes and Crystal Thompson.
