He was predeceased by: his daughter Stacy Marie; his siblings, Earl Wayne, Theresa and Ronald; his nephew Joey McKay; and his niece Cynthia McKay.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Potts (Shawn), Delores Bickett (Kenny), Tammy Knapp (Roger) and Darrell Daugherty, Jr.; and his siblings, Nancy D. Hendricks, Dorothy Whitmer (Bob), Jerry Daugherty (Dawn), Lee "Pixie" Stemmermann, Gary Daugherty (Debbie), Sue Ann Daugherty, Rita Roberson (LaWanna), Dennis Daugherty (Mary), Mike Daugherty, David Daugherty (Eva) and Jeff Daugherty (Andy). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
