She is survived by: her daughter Mr John (Rosa Lee Patterson); her siblings, Debbie Patterson, Rena Lee Bishop (Greg), Sherrie Patterson Caldwell (Raleigh), Georgia Patterson, Donna Patterson, Wilena Gazaway (Daemond) and Jon "Poochie" Patterson; her children, Gava Patterson, Cassandra Willis, Lamont Patterson and Everett Willis; her stepchildren, Ronald Shemwell, Quinn Shemwell, Bobby Johnson Jr., Shawn Shemwell and Melissa Johnson; and her siblings-in-law, Diane Smith, Sue Neil Frierson, Ida Mae Lane, Barbara Motley, Denise Offord (Carlos), Dennis "DJ" Johnson (Kitty), Glenn Johnson, Lourendy Crowe and Janice Shemwell (William). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
