He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Austin Colburn and Mary Helen Stringer Colburn; his former wife Brenda Kay Colburn; and his brothers, Bryan Colburn, Steven Colburn and Gary Colburn.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Jarrett Colburn; his children, Cammie Johnson of Owensboro, Jane Donahue (David) of Gatlinburg, TN, Joy Kay Raymond (Michael) of Utica, Amber Colburn of Owensboro, Thomas Colburn (Kristie) of Knottsville and Jason Colburn (Meggan) of Island; his grandchildren, Kailee Colburn, Garrett Colburn (Hannah), Gavin Colburn (Cas), Graycen Colburn, Jordan Colburn (Logan), Andrew Colburn, Hunter Cambron, Brendan Bullington, Alaina Bullington, Parker Johnson (Lexy), Joseph Kaleb Stofer (Lilly), Kristen Kay Jones, Carter Stofer, Katie Brown (Lee), Megan Foster (Justin), Allison Raymond, Megan Boywid (Michael), Haley Donahue, Candace McClish (Michael), Cynthia Donahue, David N. Donahue, Cameron Donahue and Colton Donahue; and his siblings, Robert Colburn (Pat), Mike Colburn, Jean Payne (Larry) and Sheila Short. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory (3009 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
