She was predeceased by: her parents, William Brooks and Nova Lee Coleman; and her son Gregory Brooks Gatewood. She is survived by: her pet Bennigan; her daughter Carla Boehmann (Gary) of Owensboro, KY; her grandchildren, Jillian Boehmann (Adam Moseley) of Louisville, KY, Sara Gatewood of Jeffersonville, IN and Sam Gatewood (Tannyr) of Indianapolis, IN; her daughter-in-law Nancy Gatewood of Jeffersonville, IN; and her brother Donald Coleman (Janie) of Hilton Head, SC..
