With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Clarence Marnel James Sr. of Owensboro, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 26, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hugh James and Josephine Bailey James; and his siblings, Shirley Thomas, Robert Earl Edwards and William T. "Sonny" James.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara James; his children, Clarence "Baby", Tony, Elliot "Mo", Sabrinna Patton and Dorita "Dee Dee" Jackson (Quinn); his stepdaughters, Tonia Thomas, Teresa Jackson and Tammy Winstead; and his siblings, Roy V James (Daisy), Oscar Ray James (Rese) and Ella Lee Jackson (Leon). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
