He is survived by: his wife Carmen McDuffie Elder; his children, Krisalyn Elder, Michele Lewis (Tom), Alicia Warner (Danny), Beth Hayden (David Kaelin), Butch McDuffie (Sherry), Philip McDuffie (Michelle), Vincent McDuffie and Carolyn McDuffie; his grandchildren, Amelia, Keith (Zach), Bradley (Taylor), Logan (Hannah), Garrett (Jessica), Eric, Abby, Justin of Andrea, Britney of Maddie, Krista, Sondra (Juan), Samantha (Kayla), Sarah (Tyler), Steven, Jacob and Lydia; his niece Connie Caldwell; his brother Richard Elder; and his father Mike. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
