She was predeceased by: her husband Wally Simon; her parents, Joseph Ambs (Joe) and Mary Clarice Ambs; and her siblings, Martin Ambs, Lewis Ambs, Joe Lee Ambs, Lucille Miller, Elizabeth Henderson, Theresa Nesmith and Edna Everly.
She is survived by: her children, Tony Simon (Jo) of Louisville, Russell Simon of Paducah, Paul Simon (Pat), Ronnie Simon of Owensboro, Diane Coomes (Steve), Karen Simon, Ruth Barr, Patty Simon (Rick Wood) of Owensboro and Barbara Mishler (Kurt) of Louisville; and her siblings-in-law, Jimmy Miller of Hendersonville, TN and Iona Simon of Owensboro. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to The ALS Association, Kentucky Chapter; 8640 Haines Drive, Suite F; Florence, KY 41042.
