He is survived by: his parents, Bill Riggs and Sheila Pickett Riggs; his close friend Kathleen Blair; his stepdaughter Lily; his brothers, Michael Riggs (Cherie) and Kevin Lee Riggs; his nephew Jeremy Riggs; his nieces, Jennifer, Jessica and Kathryn Riggs; and also Nathan Riggs.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
