He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Frank Strehl and Mary Catherine Martin Strehl; his wife Nellie Lucille Drake Strehl; and his sister Dorothy Basham. He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa McFarland (Steven) and Carla Whitaker-Taylor (Linny); his grandchildren, Janssen Payne (Mariela Chavez), Stevie Kretz (Kevin) and Charlie McFarland (Whitney Galloway); his great grandchild Renley Kretz; and his sisters, Mary Evelyn Murphy and Thomasine Lambert (Dale). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
