He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Ambs and Pauline Layman Ambs; and his siblings, Betty Frakes and Johnny Ambs. He is survived by: his wife Linda Brown Ambs; his children, Kimberly Isbell (Nathan) and Jimmy Ambs (Jenn); his granddaughter Kyla Isbell; his sisters, Lyndall Cambron and Lois Patton (Jimmy); his nephews, Tony Frakes (Ruby) and Dwight Peveler (Dana); his niece Amanda Adkins; and his cousin Andy Polston.
