With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles F. Collins (Owensboro, Kentucky), who passed away on September 25, 2019 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Collins and Virginia Collins (Millay). He is survived by: his wife Joan Marie Riddle Collins; his daughters, Marie Collins Hespen (Scott) of St. Charles, MO, Dr. Carol Collins-Carriveau (Brian) of Memphis, TN, Gail McBride (Bobby) of Owensboro and Therese Bennett (Christopher) of Hopkinsville, KY.; his grandchildren, Dana Ambs Wilson (Jeff), Joshua McBride (Amanda Wilson), Charles "Nicholas" Ambs, Kimberly Mattingly (Josh), David Ambs, Eric McBride, Samuel Chafin, Rachel McBride, Madelyn Bennett, Molly Bennett and Benjamin Bennett; his great grandchildren, Sara McBride, Jackson Mattingly, Aiden McBride and Jaylynn McBride; and his siblings, Barbara of Owensboro, Murphy of Owensboro, Mary Ann Sims (Gilbert) of Owensboro, David Collins (Sandra) of Cadiz, LeRoy Riddle (AJ) of Rome, GA and George Riddle (Brenda) of Owensboro. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
