He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew McCormick and Willie Mae McCormick; his son Mark Calhoun; his granddaughter Aretha McCormick; his great-nephew Chance Morrow; and his siblings, Herschel Morrow, Carolyn Barnes and Gracie Holt.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jackie Sellers (Henry), Tammy Calhoun Ayres (Bruce) and Tammy Michelle Baize; his foster children, Latoya White and Tristan Bowling; his stepson Danny Nesmith; and his siblings, Bobby McCormick (Mary Helen), Herman McCormick (Renee) and Barbara Winstead. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
