He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Scott Batemon and Nina Juanita Miller Batemon; and his siblings, Shirley Myers and Billy Batemon. He is survived by: his daughters, Nina Voyles (Johnathan) of Owensboro, Kimberly Jones (Joseph Jr.) of Owensboro, Katherine Rivera (Alan) of Pueblo and Susan Batemon of Las Vegas, Nevada; and his grandchildren, Jason, Charles Rivera, Timothy, Thomas Goatz, Eric Hill, Starrlina Rose (Skylar), Chance Colvin, Brandy Ruiz and Cash Kohr. He is also survived by twenty-four great grandchildren.
