He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Dennis Armstrong, Sr. and Maye Tuggle Armstrong of Cadiz; and his son Charles Dennis Armstrong III. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Hancock Armstrong; his children, Pam Bates (Ron), Chris Armstrong (Sherry) and Mark Armstrong (Dana); his grandchildren, David (Josh Gillim), Alex (Sara Armstrong), Nicole Crum (Cameron) and Charles Armstrong IV; his great grandchild Claire Gillim; and his sister Geneva "Pete" Priddy of Louisville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Winsome Senior Class, c/o Bellevue Baptist Church, 4950 Highway 56, Owensboro, KY 42301 or to the Gideons International Association of Christian Business Men.
