With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Cecil Riley of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on April 6, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Charles Cecil leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Charles Cecil may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his parents, William C. Riley and Mary Louise Riley; his children, Te'Asia Calhoun and Jermaine Calhoun; and his siblings, Vittoria Tucker of Indianapolis, IN, Cecilia Butts (Gary) of Indianapolis, IN, William Cosby of Owensboro, Nadine Murphy (William) of Owensboro, Robert Riley of Owensboro and Marilyn Brown (Michael) of Owensboro. He is also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Baptist Church (2311 W 9th St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
