She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Gibbs and Rena Wilson Gibbs; her children, Wayne Whitsett, Alfred Whitsett and Patricia Ann Whitsett; her siblings, Claude, Louise, Mae, Josephine, Annie and Francis; and her great grandchild Katie-Beth Taylor.
She is survived by: her sons, Perry Whitsett (Carolyn) and James Whitsett; and her daughters-in-law, Beth Whitsett and Dawn Whitsett. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and a whole host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
