She was predeceased by: her mother Carlene Johnson Dockery; her stepfather Delbert Dockery; and her father Coy F. Carter. She is survived by: her sister Carla R. Carter; her children, Brittany Young and Matthew Howard; her nephew Logan Higdon; and her niece Victoria Higdon. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
