She was predeceased by: her parents, James U. Hayden, Jr. and Mary "Edna" Hayden (Fischer); her children, Joseph William Cecil and Josephine Marie Cecil; and her siblings, Mildred Ivey, Norman Hayden, Betty Oberst, Lucille Fogle Wright, Sue Hill, John Hayden, Vincent Hayden and Doris Jane Hayden.
She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Cecil; her daughters, Julie Cecil Eicholtz (Erik) of Paducah and Jill Cecil Greer (Brian) of Louisville; her grandsons, Jack Henry Hagan (Lydia) of Owensboro and Hayden Greer of Louisville; and her brother Delbert Hayden of Louisville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A prayer was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory (900 Old Hartford Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303). A Mass was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (4029 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (5404 KY-54, Owensboro, KY 42303).
