It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Sue Mullen Settles of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on March 20, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Mullen and Beulah Baker Mullen; and her daughter Darla Rose Andrews. She is survived by: her husband Joseph "Charlie" Settles; her stepdaughter Carmilla "Carmi" McDaniel; her grandchildren, Jeffrey McDaniel (Jaycee), Cameron McDaniel (Ashley), Trevor McDaniel and Xavier Andrews; her great grandchildren, Declan McDaniel and Emmilynn Paige McDaniel; and her siblings, Martha White, Larry Mullen (Gail) and Steven Mullen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
