He was predeceased by: his father Richard Cotrell; his brothers, Tony and Mike Cotrell; and his stepfather Author Hamilton. He is survived by: his mother Lillian Cotrell Hamilton; and his siblings, Carolyn Abel (Gene) and Roy Cotrell (Vickie).
