He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Ford Bivens; and his siblings, Virginia DeArmond and Bill Bivens. He is survived by: his children, Brenda Mattingly, Barry Bivens (Sandy), Alan Bivens (Rita) and Brian Bivens; his brother Dean Bivens; and his grandchildren, Lori Clements, Jason Mattingly, Barrett Bivens, Audrea Ortiz, Brianna Bivens and Brandon Bivens. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
