With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Maxwell Sr. of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on October 6, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Oda Maxwell; his wife Dorothy Louise Morris Maxwell; and his siblings, Ralph, Paul Maxwell and Ann Tafarella.

He is survived by: his children, Billy Maxwell Jr., Marilyn Hamilton, Judith Maxwell and Cathy Head; his grandchildren, Monica, Devin, Evelyn, Stephanie and Andrew; and his brother Johnny Maxwell. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Western Kentucky.
