He was predeceased by: his parent Eunice D. Hoover; and his brother Allen Douglas Hoover. He is survived by: his wife Helen Abney Hoover; his daughter Vicki Hoover Strader (Keith) of Owensboro; and his stepsons, Mike A. Hoover of Utica and Bryan C. Hoover of Bowling Green.
