He is survived by: his wife Dorris Shackelford; his children, Christopher Shackelford, Natalie Hill, Carrie O'Bryan (Jason) and Chrystal Hicks (David); his stepfather Donnie Jackson; and his brothers, Hayden, Patrick, Kenny and Dennis Shackelford. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
