She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Allen and Katherine Miller Allen; her husband Lewis Patterson; her siblings, George, Bill, James Allen, Elizabeth Gish and Faye Allen; and her granddaughter McKinley M'lyse Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Thompson of Owensboro and Timothy Patterson of Huntsville, Ala; her adoptive daughter Christi Brown of Los Angeles; her brother Bob Allen of Madisonville; and her sister-in-law Janet Sue Whitaker.
