It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou Gillis (Owensboro, Kentucky), who passed away on April 9, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Robert E. Gillis, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Robert E. Gillis (Bob); her son Phillip A. Corky Gillis (Kristen) of Pinehurst, NC; her daughter-in-law Linda Gillis of Owensboro, KY.; her grandchildren, Nick A. Gillis (Mandy), Taylor Gillis Clement (Baxter) and Erica Gillis (Blake); her great grandchildren, William Baxter Clement IV and Augustus Arthur Baxter Clement; and her husband Ray. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Betty's life took a turn with the onset of Alzheimer's, however, her charisma, beauty, and character remained, as did her servanthood to those she was around.
