Though Betty June may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ottra Newcom and Bessie Coffman Newcom; her husband Jim Alvey; her children, Billy Ray Alvey and Suzanne; her granddaughter Emily Suzanne Piersall; and her great grandchild Brady Lee Alvey.
She is survived by: her sons, Eddie Alvey (Vicki) and Mike Alvey (Kathy). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the James H. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory (3009 Frederica St, Owensboro, KY 42301). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
