She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Leonard, Sr. and Lena Parish Norris; her husband Joseph Louis Johnson; her son-in-law Warren Sutherland; and her siblings, Nancy Lucas and Leonard Norris, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Pat Johnson, Bill Johnson (Carolyn), Betty Jo Mattingly (Jim), Carol Johnson, Mary Johnson and Angie Johnson; and her grandchildren, John Dunn, Kay Johnson, Scott Johnson (Svetlane), David Roberts (Rachel), Haley Cadimas (Keith), Valerie Brown (Jeremy), Ashley Drury (Jimmy), Jimmy Mattingly (Taylor) and Joel Mattingly (Aja). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
