With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty J. Mills of Owensboro, Kentucky, born in Island, Kentucky, who passed away on February 9, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Markwell and Annie Markwell; her former husband Carl Leonard; and her husband Gene Mills. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Cauley, Carla Haire, Michael Leonard and Becky Ford (Robin); her grandchildren, Glynda Sterett, Wesley Curtis, Starla Shock, Dawn King, Kara Galloway, Jennifer Clark, Heath Helton and Audra Waites; and her brother Larry Griffith (Eunice). She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren.
