She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucien Porter and Gertrude Sears Porter; her husband H. Carrol Hanberry (Hobie); her grandson Christopher Williams; and her siblings, Ann Tyree, Frances Robbins and Hugh Porter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Price of Bowling Green, Laura Williams (Bill) of Louisville and Nancy Howard (John) of Frankfort; her grandchildren, Blair Smithson of Owensboro, Benjamin Smithson of New York City, Matthew Smithson (Julie) of Gypsum, Nicholas Williams, Andrew Howard (Markie) and Katie Howard of Louisville; her great grandchildren, Norah Smithson and Amelia Smithson; and her sisters-in-law, Alma Hanberry and Rachel Reavis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
