He was predeceased by: his wife Therese Montgomery Higdon; his son Lynn Hugh Higdon; his great grandchild Ava Jane Morris; and his siblings, Louise Roehm, Catherine Cherry, Mary Sheila Higdon, Raymond Higdon of Jim, Duke Higdon, Tommy Higdon and Marvin Higdon.
He is survived by: his children, Jeanie Weedman (Blair) of Gallatin, TN, Sharon McPherson (Bob) of Owensboro and Brian K. Higdon (Inna) of Jacksonville, FL; his grandchildren, Sara Weedman, Krista Sensing (Madison), Julia Clark (Mat), Jason McPherson (Danielle), Natalie Morris (Dustin) and Illya Higdon; his great grandchildren, Ady, Hayden, Kate McPherson, Jack, Emma and Luke Morris; his brother Gene Higdon (Mary Alice); and his father Tom. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to St. Pius X Catholic Church or Goodfellows Club.
