He was predeceased by: his father Berman Gibson; and his stepfather Lee Roy Cox. He is survived by: his mother Carol Cox; and his siblings, Clint Gibson (Dale), Larry Gibson (McCanoless), Jerry Lee Cox (Jordan Dennison), Candace Bartley (Don), Kathy Gaddis and Cassandra Cox. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
