It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barney Lee Priar Jr. of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on October 12, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Lee Priar and Nellie Acuff Priar; his son Barney L. Priar, III; his sister Edith Priar Smith; and his great grandchild Kasiah Dawn.

He is survived by: his wife Sue Priar; his sons, Jeffery Todd Priar (Mary Priar) and Bro. Byron Lee Priar (Cindy Priar); his grandchildren, Suzette Rene Jones (Chris Jones), Josh Hodges, Emily Priar, Lori Russelburg, Jake Freshwater, Derek Priar, Lauren Burch, Cassie Jones, Luke Jones and Lexi Jones; and his siblings, Glover Priar, Rexie Carlisle and Heatie Morris (Arthur Morris).

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
