With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barney Edwin Elliott Jr. of Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on September 27, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Barney Edwin Elliott, Sr.; and his brother Attorney Stewart Benton Elliott of Owensboro. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Nell Elliott (Mayfield); his children, Cindy Cay Elliott, Dr. Robert Edwin (Lisa), Dr. Suellen Stevens (Elliott), Steven Lee Elliott, Jill Olivia Elliott, Kerribeth Elliott and Courtney Hermann; his stepchildren, Gregory Neil (Mandy), Christopher Eugene (Lyndsay) and Janet Coomes; and his siblings, Johannah Faye Hansen (Elliott), Dr. Robert Bruce (Elizabeth Josephine) and Jerry Lee (Carolyn). He is also survived by his six grandchildren, and seven step-grandchildren.
