She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Mort Murphy; her parents, Hugh T. Collins and Virginia A. Collins (Millay); her brother Charles F. Collins; her children, Stephanie Murphy, Diane, Randy Murphy (April), Paula Roberts (Dean) and Phillip Murphy (Melinda); her grandchildren, Brad Docimo (Amber), David Docimo (Kim), Jahna Fulkerson (Drew), Chris Murphy (Laura), Chad Priar (Whitney), Bethanie Roberts, Ashley Gleason (John), Jacob Roberts (Shelby) and Dr. Melissa Murphy (Chase Hofmann); her great grandchildren, Rebekah, Alex, Hannah, Caleb, Tyler, Lucas, Kinsley, Brayden, Collin, Addison, Lincoln, Ellie, Hattie, Vivian and Ava; and her siblings, Mary Ann Sims (Gilbert) and David Collins (Sandra).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Living Hope Community Church (1709 Alexander Ave, Owensboro, KY 42303).
Knowing her heart, in lieu of flowers, Barbara would be blessed by donations in her name to Living Hope Community Church to bless those in need.
