With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Audrey Elizabeth Abell Porter of Owensboro, Kentucky, born in Maceo, Kentucky, who passed away on October 2, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Raymond Abell and Elizabeth Russell Nash Abell; her husband Ralph James Keith Porter; her siblings, Mary E. Adam, Virginia D. Wheadon, Joseph Leroy Abell and Elzie Raymond Abell; and her son-in-law William Banta (Bill).
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Ann Banta of Owensboro, KY, Cinde Jean Porter, Jayne Lynn Porter of Owensboro, KY, Caffy Marie Stonebraker (Kevin) of Denver, CO, Debra Darlene Stith (Rayman), Beverly Susann Couch (Frank "Duke") of Mesquite, NV and James Craig Porter (Karen) of Canyon Lake, TX; and her cousins, Lloyd and Helen Nash of Philpot, KY. She is also survived by grandchildren; great- grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family asked in lieu of flower to please donate to one of the following in memory of Audrey Porter; Heart Association, Diabetes Research or Alzheimer's Research.
