We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2022, at the age of 82, Audra Nell Taphorn of Owensboro, Kentucky, born in Leitchfield, Kentucky passed away. She was predeceased by: her father Erdie Armstrong; her former husband Garlon C. Sills, Jr.; her siblings, Delbert Lee Armstrong (Kay), Doyle Ray Armstrong (Evelyn), Martha Katherine Hardin (Scigmon), Millard Ferry Armstrong (Virginia) and Mary Minnie Carter (Arlie); and her brother-in-law Ardell Pitt.

She is survived by: her husband Arthur Taphorn; her sons, Kennison Hawkins (Mary), Chase Hawkins (Dawn) and Garlon "Garr" Sills (Lori); her grandchildren, Kristin, Cameron, Amanda, Haley, Kris, Quinton and Kristoni; and her sister Ruth Armstron Pitt. She is also survived by 5 step grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
